you're a manly man Mr. Taylor. I rode Seymour on an 8" travel bike yesterday and thought it was choppy, you're making it smooth on that hardtail.

So awesome. There needs to be more videos like this. This is the stuff that gets me stoked on riding.

Ya know, I've never cleaned that skinny at 0:30. I've been riding that trail for years and I think I've only tried 2 or 3 times. Always too afraid for my rotors.

truly excellent video and back story.

In the link you mention "However, with a lack of builders willing to truly restore these pieces of history, the trail building and riding style in question is at risk of becoming obsolete". I think there are plenty of willing builders, but land owners not so much. Hopefully in the near future there can be some accommodation to retain some of these classic features as long as alternative lines can be provided to address land owner concerns.
