1st one is awesome, last one looks like you only just got back to the bike after setting the timer.

must be tricky, I can barely self film myself on a timer, and I still end up with an extra 10-20 seconds of me getting up there

it's definately tricky to get done. I kind of like the challenge of getting to where I want to be at the right time, but it is very frustrating when you could get the same shot, timed better with one try using another rider. But when it does work out, it's a good feeling. After over 50 shots that day, these are the only three that are somewhat decent, and out of those, only the first one I'm really happy with. I have scouted out lots of spots to go back with more riders though, so maybe I'll get some more pictures up in the next while.

yeah its definitely hard work, i've tried and failed a few times, filming is easier but still hard work with all the running back and forward.

What kind of camera did you shoot it on. And did you use some kind of filter or edit the pic at all? There is something about it that seems different. Really like the pic and want to know if you did something with it. Thanks for the post

Tyler - Those shots are "whore-able". Ha. Funny only to you and I I'm sure. Props on hiking back up that many times.

i think it would be fun to get the adhra folks out and hold a race on TW later in the fall. I've done some casual timed top to bottoms in the 8 minute range, which would make for an epic race for sure.

the first picture uses the bleach bypass technique, just like in saving private ryan. it adds contrast and reduces saturation, and tends to work well for shots in the forest.

there's talk of a mmbts toonie race on T-dub. with an interesting challenge in the middle, and likely a beer chug at the bottom…
