After weeks of dry and dusty trail conditions, the rain and moisture of the past week was a welcome change to us, and presented a perfect opportunity to film.

Enjoy!

Ya we realize now that that may have not been the best decision… at the time it seemed like it was the only way to carry decent speed over those switchbacks though.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

bah, that trail sees xc bikes, dh bikes, hikers and horses rain or shine and hasn't really changed at all in the past 10 or so years. A little sliding around corners isn't going to do much. Nice vid, looks like you were having fun.

I really liked that one. And may I make a decent proposal - front page, Morgman. YOu said any decently filmed vid would have the chance to make it to the front page. Reasons for this one: local riders, locally shot, nice riding, great music, awesome editing (cable cam).

You obviously haven't riden that trail much Dave, its totally been beaten down, worse than ever this past summer. I dont like the skidding either.

the skidding was minimal, especially compared to a Bueller, Dorfling, Miles, Hopkins, (add a pro name) flick etc. A horse is going to have more of a "foot print".

Academy will always be a great rip down to finish many of the trails off Upper Eagle. The entrance is being reworked (is this TORCC or Hydro or other??). It's a pretty robust trail, especially the lower switchbacks. I've seen a lot worse rear brake riding gapers than these kids.

Nice vid. Made a fun little trail look fun.
