that seatpost looks pretty long. is that rear shock as good as scott says it is?

It is pretty long, yes. But I do use the full length while in "XC mode" The shock moves away from the post while compressing so the post can be pushed down further without breaking something.

Have to get back to you about the shock. Picked the bike up friday, so it needs some testing and tuning. All I can say right now is that it requires a lot of pressure… about 360 psi in both air chambers for my weight (80kg).

I was just thinking of things like the M4s, Saints, and the single ring chainguide. All parts that I quite like, just not parts I would think of for an All-mountain bike.

I can see your point, however, it

Pretty solid cranks, I am running them on my big bike in fact. I can't complain, Saints might be a bit stiffer but I doubt I would even notice it much.

Finally got hold of a new fork at a good price. Totem 2-step with a solo cartridge for backup :) Looks a bit raked, but feels really good.

woah, i think that fork is a bit too much for that bike, should've been a sick deal for it though.

oh, and whats with the rear brake line on the downtube?

shit!

i can't see what you did to your 30 as the pictures are not working.

mine's stock with the exception of atlas triple ring, wide bar gravities and soon to be a '08 888 SL ATA.

completely capable bicycle.

leggy like a dh bike and likes to be ridden as such.

granted i'm on relatively buff terrain, but i never felt the bottom of the travel through a full summer's worth of rage.

can you re-post the pics so i can see what you've done?
