I don't get it, why that frame? Nice parts, maybe I am out of the loop but the frame seems like an odd choice…

I just always thought of it as more of a long travel cross country bike rather than a freeride capable machine which those parts seem oriented to. I must say I am now very curious as to how it rides…

those parts dont seem all THAT oriented toward freeriding to me…

IMO, its the ideal all mountain bike. Hell, i dont even think i would call it a long travel XC bike cuz that kind of implies it has XC geometry or something. The ransom was designed from the ground up to be an all mountain ride.

I dream about that bike, and then wake up embarased as i have to change my boxers right when i wake up.

I too am curious as to how the shock is treating you. Ive read good reviews in magazines.

thinkin bout bikes

I was just thinking of things like the M4s, Saints, and the single ring chainguide. All parts that I quite like, just not parts I would think of for an All-mountain bike.

that is sick.

life is like the sickest trail you can ever think of. it keeps on going, over all the bumps and mud, through the beautiful breezy grass, past the stunning epic views and sailing in the air during the hangtime. and at the end we all roll on ok, ready for yet another trail. another day.
