I've always hated the bronze colour of the 05 cowan, i can't belive it took me this long to paint it though. started out with a baby blue base (same colour as the fork) and painted over it with neon green. i thought it turned out nicely (looks better in good sunlight, nice and bright green) and most comments were positive(so far the only hater is Steve T. but i'm not out to impress anybody) so i thought i would share:

painted the forks too (two-tone woot woot haha)

and i though i'd put my helmet in too just for kicks:

constructive critisism more than welcome :D

Yikes, put down the spray cans.

Too many clashing colours IMO. If the fork and bars were black I think it could look good.

I think the bike is fugly, although it would probally look way better without the gross fork and bar, just too many colors. I do like the helmet though.

Also a darker color for your stencils on the frame would probally be better, you can barely see that light blue against the green frame, theirs no balance.

green= awsome
light blue fork + handle bar= somewhat satisfying, but what ever floats your boat:)

, however, notice the black guys pants don't leave much to the imajination.

I hate to say it because I like to encourage people a little bit in their artistic ventures but I think a little specialized leaked into this paint job. Sorry, It looks like my 6 year old niece went nuts with her crayons all over your bike, she'll get a scolding for sure.

I don't mind the green. Its the handle bars and fork that are killing me.

You can all go to hell. I'll be joining you shortly and I'm bringing beer and cheetos.

I quite like the frame now; much better than the poo brown. The rest of the artistic decisions don't float my boat, but it is not my ride :)

ps - steve is just jealous :)

dear DW,
since you got like a million bucks now, can i borrow $2850 for a Revolt frame?

thanks,
steve

the frame alone looks wicked. but the fork and bars ruin it.

Nice painting, still doesn't change the fact that it's a kona.
