Last week-end (the long week-end) I went for a quick trip to Lake Lovely Water in the Tantalus Mountain range. Started off with 1.5 km of bushwacking through Black bear territory, followed by a 350 meter long steel cable crossing of the Squamish River.
Stopped at a few places to enjoy the views and other things along the trail.
First glimpse at Black Tusk.
After 4-5 hours of hiking (after crossing the river) I finally arrived at my destination. There's a nice little suspension bridge to cross the creek just before the Tantalus Hut.

One of the girls skinny dipping into the lake after a long day of hiking.
Before I left in the morning, one of the campers went fishing for some trout :)
I was supposed to stay till Monday but I had to cut it short and come back on Sunday. I went through my food supplies a little faster then expected… It was an excellent hike though! I would highly recommend taking the taxi across the river though. That cable crossing is super sketchy and scary lol!!
didnt know nsmb was only for pros
