Sold my DH Comp and picked this baby up on Thursday :coo:

2004 Suzuki RM-Z250 (four-stroke), Pro Circuit Pipe, Boysen Water Pump, Fatty Bars with hand and rad guards.

I'll get some pics of my gear once my digi cam decides to work again.

Funny how one can pay the same amount for a bike with a motor or one without.

Nice stuff! Its hard to ride a mountain bike after riding dirt bikes. How many hours on it roughly?

Here's mine when it was new:

Here's mine when it was new:

I think it has around 50 or so hours, never raced and the guy changed the oil every 10 hours so mechanically, it's in great shape

I'm SO jealous of your bike….how close to 5 digits was it?

Jeff what happened to teh Yammy ?

it sold…and I didn't really feel like replacing the top-end every month.

.

50 hours sounds fairly low for an '04, I'm already at 12 hours and I've had the bike a month and a half.

I'm being super anal about oil changes. You have to be with a 4 stroke. In the manual they say every 7 hours for racing, but I'm following that even though I'm just out playing on the trails. Do you know what condition your valves are in?

Hey your bike is sweet too. If its a dirtbike its all good in my opinion. Mine listed for ~$7700 before tax, but the important part worth mentioning is the 60 month finance deal (with all the gear) for $200/month taxes in. Shit we can easily save that on groceries per month!

What did you have before?

This is my first bike, but I've ridden a few 125's and a Honda XR350.

For Zuki's they say no more than 20, so I'll probably do it every two rides ish

I also snagged some kickass gear for cheap in the US…Gaerne boots for 250

PS-if I'm ever in town we should go for a rip :coo:
