we're working on a documentary with the Diplomats and while we were sidestage with JR Writer some dude in the crowd dumped 3 shots out of what cops later found to be a stolen .22

nobody was hurt but there were two bullet holes right in the plywood partition next to where we were standing…apparently some local gang was trying to knock off Writer or his brother. really lame shit…i had bruises all over my chest, my mic broke, and i had a huge scratch across my back. my friend Will got banged up pretty bad too. anyways the video is on Youtube:
