So i was just sorting though some old MTB photos and came across this beauty.

Last summer I took my good buddy Jay out to a place called Ravenshoe here in Ontario. We came across this little teeter and he said he wanted to try. This was his 2nd attempt. He was a little concussed but okay. He did end up making it after another 2 try's.

Oh man.. That's got pain written all over it!!

I learned the hard way to towel off my bike before the dog. I'd rather have a slightly oily dog than a hairy bike.

Beautiful west coast, ocean inspired pottery.

He would have made it if he had been wearing full fingure gloves.

This story reminds me of September 15th, 2005 at the Intermediate skills park at Whistler. This group of guys come down the hill [HTML_REMOVED] pull in to do some of the woodwork. Well the first guy goes over the teeter fine then the second guy is right behind him and hits the end of the teeter just when it comes up from the first guy…Wham! Right over the bars [HTML_REMOVED] off to the side. I guess he didnt realize it was a teeter-he thought it was just a drop off. He was okay-the kind of thing you laff at after you see if the guy is okay or not. Maybe they should label that as a teeter not a drop or jump.

Exactly…why didn't that dude in the crash pic have his hands out to brace for impact? He shouldn't have them on the bars at that point. He should have them out [HTML_REMOVED] then once he hits, go to a side shoulder roll. (I should know) LOL.
