Wow, that's a lot of money for a kind of gross looking helmet. It'd be cool if it was all b/w.

ahhahaha that will be awesome when it rolls around in the back of a truck a couple of times.

i guess i just don't see the point in dropping 350 on something that is essentially a paintjob

Have you ever worn a TLD helmet? They are so comfortable and fit perfectly. Also, you can cushion the price tag blow by buying on sale… I bought my latest carbon fibre TLD for $225! Well worth the cost to me.

I agree. I got mine for abotu the same price, and afert rocking a 661, it felt like a million bucks. Plus I can't say enough for how goggles fit. Always perfect.

Pricey yes, but far more than just a paint job.

Does anyone actually pay retail? Prodeal cushions the blow, a lot, so why not? I used to think my old carbon remedy was comfortable and light. Then i got my first tld, night and day difference. I made the remedy into a helmet cam setup, but now every time I put it on I feel nothing but pressure points, not sure how I was ever able to handle wearing it.. Plus, none of my helmets ever roll around in the back of the truck, i'm either holding it on my lap or wearing it when shuttling. The rest of the time it's stored/transported in the nifty little bowling ball bag thing they send you..

I find nearly every troy lee basher has never worn one, and once they do they shut up most of the time.

The fact that wearing a TLD apparently turns you into a total pussy is reason enough to stay away from them. Hold it in your lap or wear it while driving up? Seriously?
