ahhhh… yeah… sorta defeats the use of the x823 dosent it?

It does…but I got a super deal on the rim. The shop wanted to get rid of it since some other guy ordered it and didn't show up to buy it.

They use to be grey. My LBS had a Black sherman Slider, so they switched lowers for me

looks like every other 243, but still sick

maybe becuyase 243 makes hardtail frames of quality, no colour options and manitou isnt a shitty fork to run on a ht. so if i had decided to buy a 243 i would run obviously a BLACK frame and a manitou of sc sorts.

Its a 2005 FR/DJ/STR Frame.

Those Shivers on front of your bike is a little over kill in my opinion.

shivers are just whats needed for big hucks and gaps, so not an over kill for me.

feel the flex when you do turns on super steep runs. other than that its fine. i like them more than 888's.

haha..nice, i ran super monsters last year! only about 20 foot right now, been doing gaps and soe shore stunt stuff on it right now, just got back from the mbuk jam, one of the big uk freeride events. bike went down a storm.but i have been working on a big drop! but it may have to wait till late summer to get the rest of the building of the run in down,. im sure loving my 243 dh and im stoked to be backed by the UK importers this year.
