one of my buddies loves to bring up things i did when i got too drunk back in uni more than seven years. makes me seem like a raging drunken lunatic. usually brings it up in front of potential love interests. that's f'd up!

As for the pinkbike kid, I say go for it. His light weight will actually help him survive. Ever see how when you drop an ant from shoulder height (like the equivalent of yourself falling 1000 feet) they just land and walk away like nothing happened?

Plus there have been more than a few drops where based on Bender's attempts they have been deemed impossible yet relatively unknown riders show up and stomp the shit out of them (the Super T stuff, for example). He might land it and it would be the most awesome thing ever.

Force = Mass x Acceleration means a smaller impact for pinkbike kid than Bender (Mattj's rationale)

Weaker body structure means a reduced ability to absorb the impact without getting hurt. (GeoffG's rationale?)

F the physics etc! If the kids has skills then hit it and let yer dink hang. If he doesn't have the skills and wants to hit that, then he's got shit for brains and i hope he breaks both his legs. This will keep the kids with brains from hurting themselves in the future.
