wait a minute. The bighits dont have a warenty any ways. At least that is what my dealer told me.

Lifetime frame warranty. Your dealer lies.

For a period of time we went down to a 5 year warranty, but now we have decided to go back to a limited lifetime warranty on all frames. This warranty covers all older frames that were sold under the 5 year warranty change but is limited to covering the frames for manufacturer defects and is valid only for the original owner of the bicycle.

It is better to regret something you did, rather than to regret something you didn't do.

ok now thats a total crock of crap…

Spec. has a kick ass warrenty on the BIGHIT line…if your LBS doesnt think so , find yourself another Spec. bike store….

i had my 01 BIGHIT rear seatstay replaced on the spot at Dizzy, and it was my fault…it wasnt even something i expected to warrenty….

i strecthed teh rear drop out/D hanger attachment area…

but is the rear triangle actually considered part of the frame? Since you can take it off so easily

yes teh rear triangle is warrenty covered…its still a part of teh frameset..
