When someone who is not used to seeing that type of thing and has not witnessed the progression, they flip out and say he's got a death wish, not realizing the built up skill and incredible commitment.

it's not so much what he's doing, it's just that the progression is getting to such a point that one of those bails could fucking end you when your skull gets splattered all over the sidewalk.
