I don't see the big deal…
Sure it's an epic ride but a fixie is still a bike and they're not even that hard to ride.

Check the location.

Sore knees and lots of rubber left on the road. Seems like a bit of a waste but good for him!
hahah fuckin tight cutoffs were probably the hardest part.
recently added riding Monte Stelvio to the old bucket list. though doing on a fixie would pretty much take every bit of enjoyment out of it… why ride up if you don't get a 15 mile coast back down?

I checked.
I'm no more impressed by this than someone doing it on a regular bike.
Descents on regular bikes are so boring too, you don't even have to do anything.
All you guys that think riding a track bike downhill is hell have probably never even ridden one.

I ride track bikes a fair amount. I still think that would be hell. My bike stays at the track where it belongs. Just my opinion.
only 35 but still beat the 30-39 BC cup Champion 4 out of 6 races
his hipster doucheyness removes any wow factor from pedaling up that. Overall, meh.
I prefer to ride my track bike on the street than on the track. On the track, surrounded by roadies with little handling skill, I feel sketched out. On the street, I feel like I'm in control of my own outcome, on a dorifto-machine.
The fun of riding a track bike for me is in controlling the bike on moving pedals, not in going fast. In 2007 I rode up and down Mt. Seymour on a brakeless bike, and will never do that again. This type of thing goes under the category of "feats accomplished in my life", and the guy in this video at least has some proof.
Or: How to lose an entire day of wasted time.

Now, I don't object to throwing away a day for a feat, but this just looks dumb.

if you believe this i think it is safe to assume you are doing it wrong
