Whoa, that was close!! Did you not see or hear that bear that was breathing down your neck the whole way down?:mullet:
Dry day on CBC.
Nice video. My friends and I are the ones standing around at the end of the trail. I bit of a surprise.
Riding is more fun than not riding
yo bentleysuper8,
nice work on the gerbil cage. I hate that thing. i can ride the entire trail except that zigzag. you made it look easy.
nice video

Forget the Gerbil Cage, check out the horizontal hang time on that dive in your avatar pic.
Now that's sick.

I know the feeling. I just got back from Cypress and pretty much walked down Sex Girl following a couple of friends.
That trail looks awesome!
Where is it?
Is this a joke?
As we have discussed before, I'm liking the aspect ratio. What camera and lens are you using?
Also nice to see how the trail should be ridden and not how I ride it. Cheers!
Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.

It's a Go Pro HD mounted sideways on the jaw of my full face helmet. Final aspect ratio of 960x1280. I have to flip it in Final Cut Pro and it's a pain in the ass but the look is so awesome I can't stop. The quality of the raw video is much better than what you see on Vimeo. I was still experimenting with formats so what you see on Vimeo has already been compressed twice.
The next video should be better.
WOW. That was insanity, I would say it takes me close to 20 or 30 minutes to ride that with half the features! -_-
That aspect ratio is awesome. I call on all GoPro owners to race Ned's the weekend (or lend your rig to someone who is) and mount the cameras for portrait like above.
Later we'll compile all videos and play them side by side to see different line choices and where time is lost or gained.
Pipe dream, but that video got me thinking…..
