i'm very happy with my d70s. isn't the 20d a lot more expensive too? never tried it though so i'm not qualified to give an opinion on the 20d itself.

I'm in love with my d70. except for one thing, no poitrat grip. there is an aftermarket one available, but you have to take the whole camera apart, sauter some shit and void the warranty…other than that I love it. A larger memory buffer for rawq would be nice and more FPS, but it's still an amazing camera.

oh, I can get the D70 kit in the bahamas for around $1100US or so. If you want I can pick you one up, but you would have to wait until christmas…

Doesn't come with one. However when I buy my fisheye, wide angle I could also get the kit for you, get them to toss something in for you. if you are interested…

20D is more expensive then d70. Maybe by 400. BUt for the 400, you get better quality image, faster and better settings. Depending on your price range, both cameras are sweet. If you have 2000$ you could get a 20D or with 2000$ you could a D70 with some excessaries, flash extra lens, etc… Personally im a Canon fan, and would go for the 20D, but its up to you. Check out the website Captain Da posted, its a really usful website and should be able 2 tell you what camera is right for you. Make sure you post some shots when you get it.

The D70 is rad and the 20d is rad too. I still would get the d70 over the 20d becuase:

Do you need 5.5 frames per second to shoot pictures of your cousins bday?

Will you ever notice the difference between 6 and 8 megapixels?

D70s kits can be had for 1400-1500 anywhere you look. Toodles.

If you have the money get a 20d if you don't get a d70 and not the rebel xt. I own the D70s and love it, the extra 400$ on the 20d will save you alot more time editing the photos than the d70, and give you a little bigger picture.

If I had the money I would probably be very stuck as to which to get. I just wisht he d70 had better out of the camera images. they tend to be alittle underexposed.
