Great video.

Hope they can reach the goal of purchasing the land.

Rode there for the first time last summer. There were lots of people in the forest and the second day there was a 10km race with a few hundred local participants. It was a great show of community and the shops/city street that borders it.

glad to see the hippies have learned it's about the all mighty dollar, and chaining themselves to trees only works short term.

That land deal at the turn of the century has to be one of the best private land deals ever. Coming from the mainland and living on the island now, its staggering how little crown land there is.

in a country as big as Canada there should be a national fucking law that requires a 5 square km radius of natural publicly owned forest around every village town and city as a buffer from industrial working forest. and i'm not remotely against forestry, but i am against it when it butts right up against every where people live play and be.
