I don't think there is really any question that 20" is much more suited to riding street, that's obvious. Not everyone can afford 2 bikes though so I don't see any reason to hate on anyone thats riding 26" on street or in a park (as long as they're respectful). The way I see it BMX and MTB are the exact same thing, bigger wheels and suspension just allows people to get out into rougher terrain.

If you think that a 20" is better suited for park/street, then you're obviously right. But mountain bikes are much better suited for the mountains, so there's no reason to make fun of REAL mountain biking. A 26" is the best tool for the job.
when did i ever make fun of REAL mountain biking. did i not just say its sweet?
but id have to disagree with you. i think 20" with rigid was secretly built for the north shore.
You guys are having a luxury problem. Too many great riders, bikes, skateparks and trails. Enough room for everyone to get into their own corner and develop some kind of artificial hatred for another style of riding.
Why can't you all just get along and start hating nordic walkers or inline skaters?
exactly! they like BMXing… so what? If you think you're better then just try pulling those tricks on a BMX. Anyways some people like mountain biking, and some people like BMX why does it matter?

No way man, 29ers are the best tool for the job. They are the wave of the future.
Say it with me kids: "The WAVE of the future!"
Impressive, but doesn't get me going.
The Ito
The majority of slopestyle competitions is basically burn-out bmxers who couldnt make it pro on 20". BRING BACK RAMPAGE!!!
wasn't berrecloth one who actually finished on the podium in one of the rampages…:???:

The bench whip thing was gross, trials much?
Cant people see that he is a robot made and built by the multi million doller corberation Tylenol, that he so called "sponsored" by. Im sure after the rending and programing models put into the past video games such as dave mirra 1 and 2., they teamed up with xgames, to produce an animatronic verson of the so called "Scotty Cranmer", to bring bmx back into todays media, and become the next Bicycle Moto Cross Super star.
I'm pretty sure biking is about backflips.
