Big Footage Problem. *READ*

Ok,
I got a BRAND NEW digital Video Camera for X-mas.
I filmed all day today,(biking), With minidiscs. Here is a screenshot from what it says. I finilized it and all. but i cant save it.
HOW DO I SAVE ALL THE FOOTY?!

right click, explore. copy and paste the video file onto your harddrive…

Doesnt work. I get all the file details and junk. And how do I save it on my Harddrive? Im not a techie kid…lol

show us a file of it when you click explore..

once your in explore hit Cntl A then rightlcick on any file and copy and then paste it anywhere in your C:\

Thanks, but thats not the problem. I need every clip acceptable, So i can make a movie with it. But its all like together…screenshots will come tommorrow.

did you read the instructions that came with the camera? I know its silly, but im sure you arent the only one who has had this problem.

i have the same type of camera and you have to buy a program that converts it from mpeg to avi, unless your computer has tv input jacks, then i just hooked it up like it was a tv and record it, its the easiest way

open the folder.

Cut/paste all the media files….. mpg, mov, mpeg, mp4, etc. All the files you can open in media player or whatever you use to watch videos. They WILL be in there. The rest you can ignore.

your media player may not have the CODEC required to play the video. you can normaly get them from codec.com. just go there and search for the file extension
