it may be little and light but it can handle rough stuff and being thrown around, each to there own tho i guess but i love it.

that's rad
the bike looks so awesome in person, I didn't even realize it was SS… What went down tonight?
Just because I like boys doesn't mean I want to go out with Mike.
id ride that.
Team Pinkbike/Devinci
kill it at 26 trix
Really? I can't think of anything on Powers that would require more than that thing and a good rider…
Who mentioned anything about Powers?
The talas with the 3 travel adjustments, mine is working good so far.
Yeh kyle its lighter and lower then the wildcard and tighter on the back end so it dirt jumps and corners like a dream just a super fun bike, be super rad for the dual slalom at whistlerr mmmmm.
Its a single speed dually yeh, mainly just because when i had gears i never used them so i figured id save myself some hassle and just make it single speed can still climb hills fine and DH so i like it.
if youre riding that dont call it DH

believe it or not but you don't need a full on suspension bike to go Downhilling, I mean people DH on hardtail's so what's the problem, i just whack on a front brake and its good to go.
PS, go back to your equestrian riding:):):)
I think what needs clarifying here is that specific bikes are better for specific tasks. For example, an Orange 223 is much better set-up for DH riding than a Rampant.
However you can ride pretty much any bike anywhere with some compromise. Midas is just hatin'

No no no no no no NO! The Rampant is much lighter and will therefore be a superior Downhill bike. Looks like you haven't payed attention to the latest trends.
Seriously though, that bike is super nice and looks like it would be perfect for jumping and shredding some smoother trails. I'm still debating whether I should buy a derailleur etc. for my hardtail to turn it into a do-everything hardtail or keep my hardtail the way it is (one break, single speed etc.) and get myself a shockcycle that would fill the gap between my hardtail and my Shocker.
when you're an aussie you only need 3" of travel and one brake to be a total pinner!
thats a bad ass lookin ride Alan!

I remember you always posting about Powers and Silverstar; that bike would handle anything on either mountain under a decent rider.

Yes, I'm sure it would.
Until it got to Monster Amigo.
…Monster Amigo is a pretty smooth hit. In general actually, drops are either stupid or they're doable on a smaller fully. The real advantage of a big bike is in super choppy DH stuff and racing.
