Arrived at Baldface in time for the arrival of a young hispanic male (El Nino.) Made for interesting conditions compared to the previous years I've been there. But it was good on St. Patties day

First video edit Ive done. Learning as I go along

I'd like to hear some constructive criticism from videographers

awesome.

Colours are awesome when the sun is out and the blue skies.
The first minute is the same angle. People don't have the attention span for that.

Never thought of it like that until you mentioned it.

I get pretty nauseous from viewing the helmet cam angle, so I went with as little as possible on that front. I'll try getting more angles next time around. I tried the board-mount a few years back, but it ended up costing me a go pro on the first run of the first day of a 7-day trip(:

And there in lies the problem w/ POV videos…

I need to figure out the quality issues now

Edited with iMovie
Filmed with a GoPro3 have to check the quality settings on the camera though

Is iMovie reducing the quality? I noticed it changed the framerate when I started adding clips. How do I get the quality and frame rates to stay the same

That video needs to be less than a minute and a half. The first clip you drop in to iMovie will determine the frame rate and pixel size. Everything else will be that once that is there. Unless you change the export settings, it will export as that as well.
I also hate you for riding there as I have had zero pow days this year.

Pole mounts drive me crazy. Unless you are going really damn fast or taking a big hit they just seem to be not very interesting. But going with a previous comment, switching the angle up would help. The only time one angle works is when it's a sender edit haha

I took that advise and switched up with more often with the last one I did. Taking gravel seems to make editing easier

1440 @ 48 fps is way more pixelated than 1440 @ 30 fps.
