may not be the fact that it's in the wrong placee, but mtb is more diverse than bmx. so money is divided more. i'm sure more people ride all mountain/crosscountry than downhill/slopestyle/freeride combined.
That may be true but look at people in the industry trying to make it happen, no matter what demographic they cater to there still is nowhere the profit coming in as compared to runing a boardshop compared to a bikeshop. Even proriders… no chance you could put any of mtb's highest paid riders to any proskaters or snowboarders in terms of income, even the media end… like honestly Atiba Jefferson is killing it compared to shooters in the bike world.
