haha, I didn't even know that was where you took that one until Bryan told me on the way up. It was an honour to poach your location

As much as I want to throw that lightstand and umbrella as far as I can most of the time, it sure does give a nice even light. Setting it up on uneven ground is……..let's just call it character building.

I didn't think a picture of me looking at it and saying "no f%cking way" would really be all that exciting.

Very very nice shots, Dave. Gotta agree that the first one is the best. The depth is just wow. Sweet.

Did you really use lighting equipment (umbrella…) for these shots? if so….even more wow.

Absolutely nice!
Cool to see the sun spots on the trees in the background.

How many flashes did you set up for those shots? Pretty lucid but well arranged.

3 flashes.

1 285hv/umbrella on the shooters left, 1 285hv with softbox on the shooters right and an SB600 with diffuser behind rider (which was a little bit hot)

that berm is famous now. just looks like trail maintenance is going to have to be kicked up a notch. thank you for not skidding:)

and for the step down all u gotta do is coast from the bridge over the creek before it and ull land right at the top

Also, some people like skinnies. What better way to teach rear-wheel awareness - of which there is precious little around here? Besides, give it 5 years, and theyll be retro-chic again.
