Holy hang time that was insane.
230 Foot Cliff Drop!
oh yeah, stupid right, and I suppose dropping a bike off a 30 foot cliff isn't considered stupid, the guy did it cause he wanted to, skill, luck, fuck it whatever the guy did a ballsy move and walked away from it, kudos to him.
I troll shitty posters like yourself, because it's amusing to watch you skidmarks get all riled up.
After seeing the latest ski flicks this year, I honestly believe this sort fo thing is becoming the norm, and that is a bad idea. Is someone is going to have to get seriously hurt before we tone this stuff down? I watched one flick this year (sorry I forget the name) that had 3 200+ foot cliffs.
When jamie Pierre jumped last season he didn't even where a helmet, and he landed head first off 200+feet. I call surviving that luck, not skill.
that guy just landed on his back , it didnt even look like his skis touched before he did. does anyone actually land this stuff and ride out? cause every huge cliff ive seen lately, they just crater at the bottom and pick themselves up and keep on going, doesnt count as sticking it to me but can you ever stick a 200+ foot drop? THE SHEER PHYSICS SAYS YOU CAN'T!
If I'm not mistaken, so long as your gear is still with you (don't think poles count) and you're not too broken to ski out of it, it's considered a landing.
…and people rag on bikers who put a foot down after doing a tailwhip? If you don't land on your skiis and continue forward momentum, then it shouldn't count. Period.
This is your birthday pony.
got BENDER?
Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!
Nothing sums up my life's achievements like my stuffed corpse, suplexing a cougar.
shoulda put an extra like 30 feet on it to beat jamie priere

I took like three guys to dig Pierre out he was so deep.
Let's just look at the physics of a jump that size:
200ft = 61m (d)
acccelration due to gravity 9.81 m/s2 (a)
vi = 0
vf2 = vi2 + 2ad
vf2 = 1197
vf = ~34.5 m/s
vf = ~ 125 km/h
Obviously this is simplistic, but to pull this off is nearly impossible since your vector at impact is nearly straight down. You would need an incredibly steep slope. Even still, you would continue to accelerate on the slope. In ideal conditions you would probably be stopping at a speed near 150km/h. It is possible, but if you seriously want to land, you gotta find a pefect slope, and you better strap on apair of 225 DH skis. Even still, I say very unlikely.
PS, my math could be way off, so don't hold it against me.
i don't have the latest flash player…but i know the j. pierre vid. and this is really insane. there have already been fatalities in big mountain skiing. well, if it is their thing, they should go for it.
who am i to stop them..? some people call me "idiot" because i do small / mid-size drops.
at the end of the day these people have to account for their stuff, maybe in front of the mirror or in front of their wives, kids, etc.
btw, ten years ago never ever imagined riders hucking off 30 foot cliffs - and landing.

as a former ski patroller that is the dumbest thing i have ever seen…drops that high are impossible to "land"
that was a very fine line between life and death
ORIGINAL FREETARD
and now I'm CROSSTARDED
Yeah, stupidity is a great thing to celebrate!
Don't get me wrong, I am glad that he survived, but seriously…just why?
Haha "surviving stupidity". There should be a t.v. show called that!
If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
