Pretty sure I’ve posted this info about them in this thread before, doesn’t seem to matter to some.
New article at the Tyee from Nikiforuk that does a better job of not being so fear-mongering as his last one.

Is covid still a concern for people or have we mostly moved on?
lol
Slowbalization, eh? I was looking for a clever graph to counterpoint the king killing the economy. This graph is kind of interesting though, showing how we are actually at an all-time high in trade openness.
Instead, I bring you

Anyone else still not been sick?

Anyone else still not been sick?
I've not had symptomatic C-19. If I got exposed and had it without symptoms there is no way to tell without a blood test. I continue to take what I consider to be sensible precautions without going overboard. From the research I've done it seems like getting C-19 at all carries long-term risks we don't fully understand so I am not in the "don't worry about it be happy" boat. I'll keep trying to avoid it.

That's great, I feel about the same regarding long term unknowns.
I've been to weddings, events, gatherings, travelled a bit.. nothing. Gf works in healthcare, has been exposed and tested dozens of times.. nothing. *knock on wood*.

Same situation for me. Lucky, or completely asymptomatic. I'm not the most social person to start with, but haven't been very vigilant about avoidance since things "opened up".
Even with all the shots and boosters I got covid about a year ago running door at a Legion gig but it wasn't bad

I have always been up to date vax wise but I caught Omicron twice last year. Both times sucked, but they were comparable to other times I got sick enough to stay in bed. I caught what I think was Norovirus a few years ago, and it was way worse.
The problem that I have is I have never felt fully better since I caught it last September. It ended my riding season which really sucked because I ended up losing a bet for most vertical with a friend that was also turning 50. Now the asshole is taunting me. :)
I tried to go for a ride in late October and I felt like collapsing. Since then I keep catching colds and never seem to feel like I am back to full power. I have lost 15 to 20 lbs as well, even though I have been pretty sedentary. I am just getting over a bad cold now.
Disclaimer: I also had a fairly large benign tumor removed from my neck on Feb 1st, so I can't rule that out. It was first noticed last fall as well, but I was still feeling good until I caught COVID.
I am tuning up the bikes this weekend and shaking off this cold as best I can, so I should see within a few weeks if I can get back to baseline.
