I'm curious how long people will wear masks for after Bonnie announces the end of the pandemic. Personally, I have enjoyed not getting a single viral illness for 2 years but not sure I would continue wearing a mask to avoid the odd cold.

In certain situations I'll probably wear one for the rest of my life. I.e public transit, grocery shopping, planes..etc

You can’t derisk life.

Just wait until you read the actuarys' numbers for 2021.

Big problem with that respirator and (N100 masks) is the one way exhale valve. They also need to be properly fit tested to ensure their efficacy, just as you need to with an N95 or N100. Sure, it protects the wearer, but its a free flow of air with no filtering on the exhale.

I think the larger problem is any mask is acceptable for the Worlds current most deadly and threatening virus. Adding to that, isnt there a biohazardous risk associated with used mask's but we're free to discard them without even a littering fine?

I hate how much the word lockdown has so many definitions.

Lockdown=covid zero strategy 

Our strategy has been to restrict things just enough so we didn't run out of breathing tubes. Not even close to an actual lockdown.

I've been invited to participate in a vaccine evaluation study. The researchers are analyzing blood samples of vaccinated and unvaccinated people over a period of 19 months. The goal is to fact check the vaccine drug manufacturers claims and establish the effectiveness of each vaccine in the long term. Should be interesting.

Early days still, but some promising news out of McMaster!
