Oh! Canada?

Given that we have zero manufacturing of vaccine, it's a no brainer for Canada to support this.  Trudeau as usual is leading from behind on this one.

He just has to check in with the Kielburgers and get their opinion.

Ha ... made me laff.

On that topic, is there anything about the Kielburgers and that WE charity (along with multiple offshoots that aren't charities) that doesn't reek of greasy shit? The whole mess seems scammy AF.

Reeks to WE high heaven.  The “charity” seems shady AF, let alone the Trudeau/Lib contract with them.

There Is Something Wrong With the Herd

The United States won't achieve herd immunity because a significant portion of the herd is suffering from mad cow disease.

Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.

I didn't really think so at first.  WE was huge around the world and seemed legit to me.  I still don't know that much about them and my mom always told me not to judge a book by its cover, but I wouldn't let these guys buy me a beer.

It is moving fast now.  In our office of 9 people only the 2 youngest guys haven't had theirs but both of them are scheduled in the next few weeks.

Still only half of eligible people have been vaccinated, or about 35 to 40 percent of the population.  It'll be a while before BC reaches 75 percent.

For sure, there is a lot of people to go yet, but the rate of vaccination is impressive.  I saw a graph the other day that compared the rates with the US and UK based on when the vaccines started being administered by each country and they started at a much better rate then us because they had a good supply from the start, but at this many days in they were both slowing down.  BC has almost caught of the the percentage of the population vaccinated in the same amount of time.  What will be interesting is seeing when hesitancy starts becoming a factor and it slows due to less people wanting it.

Got mine yesterday (Pfizer), the place was full and ran like a well lubed chain. Today I wish I could chop my arm off and I feel like I had way too many beers last night even though I only had one. Stayed home today and now I think it’s time for a nap.

Anecdotal, but you're the only person I've heard of first hand account having bad reactions to the Pfizer. Hope you feel better!
