when you catch a live mouse in a glue trap?

I'm not usually the overly sensitive type but I feel kinda bad for the little guy…
not bad enough to pry him off the trap and set him free, but bad enough to kill him in a humane way

I have never used glue traps for that very reason.

A bucket of water is probably your best (and least messy) bet.

…..or you could cut the trap in the shape of little snowshoes and set him free out side. That would actually be pretty sweet for the mouse if there's snow at your place.

I put him outside on my deck, figure it's -5 so he won't last too long but hoping that some of the squeeking he's doing will warn some of his brothers to stay the fuck out of my house

a cardboard box with a hole in it pushed up against your tailpipe will have him out in less than a minute. that was how the bird my cat knocked around pretty hard got dispatched.
