We were downtown Rouen when France advanced to the semis..the whole city went apeshit. Sort of reminded me of Game 7 vs. The Bruins, except not with anarchists. Then for the semi against Belgium, we watched the game with friends and even the non-fans had a great time. We will try and watch from downtown Cherbourg tomorrow and hope for a good final.
World Cup 2018
Croatia played much better than I expected as they've had three extra-time games and a day's less rest.
Overall this was an excellent tournament.

There was a LOT of beer being showered on everyone. Absolutely no reaction when Croatia scored their second goal. It was a pretty memorable experience.

I wanted to see a good game which it was. France probably deserved to win but I feel Croatia was hard done by. Seems to happen at every world cup.
