Between Assange and Snowden, America really needs to sort out what constitutes a whistleblower, what constitutes the press, and how to protect them (or not). There was no avenue for Snowden to legally blow the whistle and I have no idea how Assange can't be considered as part of the press.

In the end it finally dawned on me that I had been blinded by propaganda, and that Assange had been systematically slandered to divert attention from the crimes he exposed.
