Who makes the best bagel?

Correct. Round bread is not a bagel. There used to be a place called I Love Bagels next to Colosseum Pizza in North Van on East 12th… wood fired oven, pretty good bagels. Solly's are probably the best in Vancouver: Yukon and 7th, and one on Main St. too.

So Im havin fake bagels for breakfast.

Mount Royal Bagel Factory in Victoria is awesome. I assume it's the same place in Van.

will have to try this mount royal bagel factory you speak of. haven't had a truely good montreal style bagel since i lived at that end of the country.
that said, solly's is pretty good.

I am partial to bagels from Montreal, so here in Vancouver I consider Benny's on Broadway to be the closest thing to what I had at either of the great Montreal bagel houses on the Park extension.

Siegels Bagels. Tough to find but if you ever find yourself in Kits they have a store there. Get an Eggs Benedict while you're there.

Oh I thought you recently moved from NV to Whistler and now are moving to Pt Grey. Anyway, carry on with your bad-ass lifestyle. I believe you mentioned having no kids so I think I'm going home tonight and yelling at my 4 kids for cramping my lifestyle. ;)
