Get the Mazda. The S10 will end up costing you an arm and a leg, they are not the most reliable vehicles in the world.
The Mazda's have a good rep. Cheap parts, cheap gas, and they last for ever. Not to mention it is a pick up!!

i just got a mazda b2300 1994. Gutless but has the ext.cab and boxliner for the bikes, shovels and ramps. Gets over the curbs to get those "hard to reach spots". Cheap on gas too.

My Bro has the Blazer and while it runs, it really is a POS, and he'll tell you all about it.
If it was me, I would get the Mazda and not even consider the Blazer.
I heard Mazda trucks were built by Ford…as in same as a Ranger. True/false??
Ford utilizes the Mazda platofrm. A Ford Ranger is essentially a Mazda B series pick up (the newer ones). Hence the drastic differences between the Ranger interiors, exteriors and mechanical composition. COmpare a Ranger to an F150, zero similarities besides the emblems.
i drive the exact same mazda when i dotn have my car, its pretty sweet and rules in the snow and for towing stuff, it will be rad for shuttilin

What snow?
A friend of and his dad both have mazdas and they seem to go forever with a little regular maintenance. Way cheeper insurance and gas too.

chevy. is it the 4.3 or the 2.8? if its the 4.3 i would go for it as you will be goin through so much gass to get anywhere at a decent speed. my friend has the 4x4 blazer 2 door with the 2.8. he is gettin a 4.3 in it though.
'94 and newer mazdas are built by ford.
Mazdas are super reliable. I love mine.
If you dont plan on doing a lot of 4bying just go for the mazda, it'll be waaayy better in the long run.
