any other vehicles around the 3g price range, that i should consider? i dont think i'd get a bronco, we had one and it was way too tippy

thanks guys, keep it comin **

Might want to look at the Nissan Hardbody P/U. Supper reliable engine. I love my Nissan Xterra well except for the gas mileage. That's going to be bad in just about any truck.

I'm actually thinking of getting a Honda Element. Check out the web site. They actually show two MB with DC forks in the back of it. They even have the wheels still on them. :thepimp:

BTW

2 X 4 = piece of wood
4 X 2 = 2 wheel drive truck

Cheap on gas…..as a matter of fact….it doesn't use any gas….it can actually be used AS a fuel source!

While you guys are on a roll:) what do you think about this truck?

84 toyota, extended cab, rear slidder 5spd, 22r, 3" suspension lift, 31" BFG at's, canopy. many mods for trail performance. Springs have been reworked for improved flex, clamps opened up for axle drop. Hand throttle on shifter, lift shackles in rear as well as lift springs. relocated front flex hoses for improved lenght, relocated spare tire holder in box. Procomp ES 3000 shocks on all 4 corners.

New parts in the last year:

Master cylinder
driver's side caliper
both flex hoses on front
rear brakes, wheel cylinders, spring kit, metal brake lines
all fluids changed, front/rear diff, trans, coolant, brakes, oil a few times
window flares
sunroof, and it's dry!
wiper blades (last month)
4 procomp ES 3000 shocks
front and rear 3" lift springs (u bolts on rear)
timming chain, tensioner and guides
cab mount passenger side, middle one, fabbed and welded to frame
driver side front fender
park brake cable from handle to lever under cab
heli coils in cyl. head for exaust manifold bolts
radiator

Spare parts:

fuel filter
cylinder head
cam shaft
exaust manifold
all seals for rear axle

The motor is a little noisy, could use some attention, it's been making the same noise for a year with no increase in noise. The frame is good for an 84 toy. The box is from a newer truck and is 100% rust free! cab is in good shape with no rust holes, some surface rust but very little.
there is no oustanding Vehicle Inspection Order, clean title.

$2500 obo

Thats a fair price I suppose. All four leafs are NEW?
You just wanna be somewhat sure the tranny, motor, or diffs/transfer case aren't gonna go soon.

…that box looks in rougher shape than the original body:lol:

If you think about that list……all very minor.
No major investments on the owners part.
But still, that stuff had to be done.

Just make sure it wasn't a band aid to get HIM thru the last yr….and now the major stuff is gonna go.
