Leaning towards a Boxer, cause I want a dog I can take with me when I bike. Half hour with a 180lb dog, and it's ready for dead.

Kids!!….a moment of pleasure..a lifetime of pain.

But you won't have to worry about a bear:lol:

I like the mastiff because they are more mellow than the Boxer, which can be pretty high strung

I have a rotty/black lab cross
great dog, mellow from the rotty, but playful from the lab
looks like a really big lab

meh

A Mastif will be pretty big. And that is an important consideration.

I've been around LOTS of dogs. Hands down, without a doubt in my mind……..A GOOD GermanSheperd ROCKS as an all-round dog.
They have ALL the attributes of a Lab/Retriever….but can summon aggression on cue.

mastiff
its bigger so, it takes bigger strides and wont get tired as fast, a boxxer has short legs so running for a long time will kill it :dead:

Chocolate lab….I cant wait to get one. I had a buddy who had a huge dog…I think it was a mastif…but it ate WAY to much. Very expensive dogs to feed, they eat alot.
