I am looking for a new bike friendly destination dive bar and was wondering where the cheapest beer in bars is in the whole Vancouver area?
The American was cheap, and The Ivanhoe and Waldorf before the hipsters found them.
Surrey/cloverdale has the Clydesdale but I cant remember the prices.
Bars and prices please, tell me the GOODS!!! reps to all answers and maybe a beer.
More than half a 15 pack of PBR in my fridge, come on by!
PBR the cheapest at the BCLC and is on sale at the 37th store, same price as Caribou $.038/ml
But unlike some I don't have a B.O.B. to carry a case around. :cool:

Legion on commercial dr is fun. The Turf in Surrey was good but now they got the Mugs n Jugs peelers so drinks are more. Still a good destination dive though.

Roosters on wednesdays have 9 dollar buckets of bud (3 dollar bottles of budwieser) and topless bullriding and cheap chicken wings.
The Treehouse had toonie tuesdays, 2 dollar pints something molson, 2 dollar highballs, 2 dollar burgers, 2 dollar onion rings, etc.
The Biltmore has 3 dollar PBRs, but its pretty wack.
I think Pub 340 has 10 dollar pitchers and some decent bands roll through there.

Mountian Shadow in burnaby lets you take the bikes to the patio, but not cheap.
So, where in New West? Burnaby? North Van? Langley? Delta? North Shore? The Pemberton, is it cheap?
I don't know about you all, but when I go for long road rides I get thirsty and coffee doesn't always cut it.

I can't argue with this, It's one of the reasons I got a NEXUS. I am looking for more bike friendly dive destinations, i will fix the op to clarify this.

$11.50 pitchers of Russell, 1516, Phillips IPA, Big Rock Trad, and Red Truck pale at Locus on Main at King Ed after 10pm. Not quite a dive, but the front seating and patio are great for keeping an eye on bikes. Fairly sure those are the cheapest craft pitchers in the city, too.
