Bright side for us is that my wife gets to spend a bunch more time with our little guy.

I have been stay at home dad for about a year while she worked full time+

Now that most of her clients are basically shut down she's only working like 10-12 hours a week so she is home a lot more. Really great that she gets to be around during the day with him :) I love to see it.

Who’s old enough and cheap enough that they remember renting the VCR to go with their movie?   Now, that was a big deal evening with the parents!

( sorry, I refuse to keep quoting the movie rental messages)

No sleepover birthday party was complete without the rental machine that came with a handle so you could carry it and Enter the Dragon.  We would watch other movies too but always Enter the Dragon.

Not working afternoons/evenings anymore means time to do normal people stuff - like bikes! Now I just need to find some people to ride with

Are Albertans the Canadian version of Americans?

Albertans may require a little extra patience, but to compare them to yanks is kind of a low blow.

And I honestly am fed up with streaming. I miss the good old days of renting a film or even buy one...unpacking....celebrating the movie. Not just clicking an icon and binge watchibg whatever whenever.

My favorite parts of watching a movie were the trip to the rental store and the hour spent picking out a movie.

And then returning it a week late.  $25.00 to watch Howard the Duck.

But...others were worth it. Definitely.

Are you saying you didn't love Howard the Duck?

well, sorr..but I have never seen Howard the Duck.....I was thinking along the lines of certain actresses.

By the way, is Gooch still alive?

....8 months late, but I'm pretty sure he is still alive....I cant remember the last time I logged in here....then again, I can barely remember my own name
