My spending has sure gone down.  With 4 trips to Van a week from Squamish, it saves a lot of time and money.  My house is getting cleaner than ever.  Catching up on Netflix series.

On the down side though, where did all the uneducated hikers come from?

The mall, the movie theater, cafes, brunch spots, restaurants, pubs, strolling along Granville....

All the people that would usually be crammed into high density higher contact type spots decided to go for a walk in the woods. They need some work on spacing out and go in smaller groups but I think I'd rather have them walking around in the forest then packed into their usual high contact lifestyles.

the ski season was still born due to a torn ACL/meniscus since january, can't walk much its still cold to go outside , so stay in and  other than the craft brew's closing ... almost no difference

i stocked up on food a little maybe bought double what I normaly would but nothing crazy

The guy who loaded my camp delivery truck said the food store business was  up 100% a week ago and I'm not drive any more food trucks

I instaled a bidet so Tp use will drop to almost zero, only $46.20 I can highly recommend but maybe not if you have toddlers they would love to play with the new toy

As a person ignorant of the bidet, does it blow dry your arse?  I am a little shaky on the process.

I too have wondered that.

maybe you get the ass drying feature if you pay 4 figures for a seperate chunk of porcelin in a new high end bathroom which will need 115V for the nintendo control panel dryer yada yada

or on the lower end for 46.20 you get some hardware to sandwich between your seat and the bowl, when you turn a knob a jet drops down to spray yer asshole with water

I got this one for 46.20 from Amazon a one time only cost

so think about how much TP you use ?

Yer ass ends up is clean thenyou just dry it however you would dry a body part

If you got kids, best to take the controller instead of just pausing the game for the bathroom break. ..

I've only lost a bit less than $3K across all my retirement investments.

Rich people who shorted stocks a couple weeks ago have made a killing.  Exact opposite for your average Joe or for pension funds, where the investment people advised to hold for the long run.

lol - not even close.  $3k

Ha!

I’m not gonna disclose the full amount but it was a fair bit more than 9k. The loss was all on one vehicle and I’m still above the original investment so I feel pretty relieved so far. Unfortunately I know a few people who have taken a bit of a bath and lost 20-45% of their original investment

of more immediate concern I am self quarantine  ing and on my last bottle of Pinot Noir ,

Oh the humanity

Ive been lucky to ride out the initial stages of all of this in an isolated camp with very strict protocol since corona became an issue. No one here has presented symptoms. We have all pulled together to keep ourselves healthy and safe.

However, im not looking forward to going home amongst the unwashed masses and all the other bullshit life is throwing my way. At least my income is guaranteed.
