Yes some of them were, and no not just the SVO's.
The ex had a 4cyl turbo stang, definitely no SVO, more like SPS - smouldering pile of shit. But it only smouldered when it actually ran. Yes it was a factory car, not aftermarket, and it was a pice of shit. One Ford dealership could never figure out the ongoing problem, and one other dealership refused to even look at it - basically suggested we leave it in Surrey with the keys in it and pray to god it actually started for a car thief.

The merkur xr4ti was a 4 cyl turbo pretty much a stang. 50/50 weight split, good brakes, ok suspension i guess. They flew untill they blew up.
