What is Best Tire Store in the Lower Mainland?

I am in the need of new skins for my car, and pretty much hate tire shopping. It seems so insular, like you have to have a bro deal before you get a deal.

Where do you all go for tires?

I've gone to Kal Tire on Boundary, a couple blocks north of 1st a few times in the past. Not so much because of prices, but because they've gone above and beyond the norm in their customer service. Finding hard to get sizes, and once gave me temp use of a used tire (old one was way worn, belts showing) to get by with while my order was getting shipped.

Use 1010 tires to find what you are looking for, then call Volco tires (their retail arm) and set it up. Volco uses the web pricing for installs.

I use the marine drive location and they have been great. Prices are in my opinion are the best most of the time.

If service is important, another vote for Kal Tire.
They send out an email every year around this time for a parking lot sale at their Marine Dr location. They collect up all of last years model tires from all their lower-mainland stores and sell at good prices.

I've done this a few times. Kal Tire does have the service side down really good, but they were near an extra $150 per tire vs. 1010.

I buy them from my mechanic (Bill @ Main St. Auto, Vancouver) as he is competitive to online prices and I don't have to take the vehicle anywhere else. This is for expensive truck tires (~$285 each).

I've bought a couple of sets from the shop on the North West corner of Hastings [HTML_REMOVED] Commercial. It's called Canada Auto Racing Accessories or something like that. They've always treated me decently but they don't have free tire repairs or any other perks. I did save about $400 over other local shops on a set of tires for my truck though.

Oh and remember to haggle with them!

OK Tire on Kingsway seems to have very good prices, recommend you get a quote from them.

I've heard that Costco is very sticky on only installing OEM size tires on your vehicle.
