Did you know that the word Gullible has been removed from the dictionary?

The decision on that billion dollars was pushed back to December. And even if it wasn't, you'd have to be pretty foolish to believe that article is anything but a hoax.

Is there even a billion dollars in five cent coins available That would be twenty billion nickles wouldn't it?

Not much likelihood of this being true.

Picture in the "article" shows copper-coloured coins ie pennies, not nickels.

Wow … I'm amazed that there are still 51.1 million Indian Head pennies in circulation. Those went out of production in 1909.

Kn.

Edit … my screwup … those are Indian head dollars in the graphic. Gold! (still, only produced until 1889)

I'm surprised by the number of $2 bills. I thought those were pretty rare.

20 billion nickels (5 g each) would weigh 100,000 tonnes (my math?).

One of these can haul 360 tons

So it would take 30,000 Cat 797 truck trips to move that amount of money. If it only took a mere 5 minutes to drive from the bank to Apple, it would take over 100 days of nonstop delivery to move 20 billion nickels working 24X7, not including time for loading and making return trips.

The process would probably be financially ruinous for Samsung, and maybe that was Apple's whole plan in the first place. SUCKAHS!

Not gold. Those are $1 coins that are about the same size as the loonie.

They were introduced sometime ago but Americans pretty much refused to use them. I have only ever seen one.
