Get under there and see where its leaking
try finding help on line or a youtoobe vid
I have fixed washers dryers dishwashers, never paid for a pro
If you can work on your bike you can probably fix
a home appliance … its not that hard
Pretty certain this site was recommended on here before. I ordered a new latch mechanism for my parents dishwasher last winter. Ordered, delivered (to end of the road BC) and installed by myself in under a week total.
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
^^^Yes, open up the panel and take a peak to see if you can locate the source of the leak.
Look up the RepairClinic (or other) videos on YouTube to get an idea of the repair involved. Parts can be ordered online (PartsSelect, etc.) much cheaper than through brick and mortar parts shops.
Agree that appliances are mechanically as simple as bikes. If you have an older washer (20+ years) though, it might be worth it to replace with a newer one just for the capacity and efficiency.
"The song of a bird…We used to ask Ennesson to do bird calls. He could do them. How he could do them, and when he perished, along with him went all those birds…"-Return from the Stars, Stanislaw Lem
"We just walk around, and sometimes we go out and dance, and then we listen to the environment."-Ralf Hutter, Kraftwerk
Far simpler than bikes
OTOH actualy the older machines are usually simpler than the newer machines and worth repairing, parts are usually not that expensive and the parts guy at a parts store might be able to give you some words of wisdom
Appreciate the do-it-yourself advice - normally I'd have a go at it. But I've got family visiting and I'm in need of a quick fix.
Does anyone have any repair services to recommend?
leaking a bit or a gusher?
if its just leaking a bit put a pizza tray under it until they leave
Gf's DW was leaking so I took the panel off the bottm for a look-see under neath, ran it a bit to look for a leak wearing a head lamp
I never seen any leak and it never leaked again and that was maybe 1 year ago
