War with Alberta

So now that Alberta and Trudeau have declared war on us and will be sending a bunch of lifted 350's with truck nuts on a major offensive, alongside not buying our electricity it sounds like we should scrap Site-C.

All because we are thinking maybe it won't be such a great idea to socialize the spills that will inevitably result in this shit show.

"I HATE SOCIALISM UNLESS I CAN GET SOME SCRAPS THAT FALL TO THE BOTTOM, THEN IT'S FUCKING TITS. TRUCK NUTS."

He better hopes Morneau explains himself out of a few conflicts of interest & now Morneau's  wife (Nancy McCain. Yes, that McCain family) is tied into a bread fixing scandal.

Notley cracks me up.  They don't have choices.  They need us for the pipeline and the hydro.  What cards does she think she holds here?  Maybe they can build up solar and wind generation, but if that is a possibility she should be doing it anyway.

IMO, Alberta has to kick and kick fast.  All I hear is "C'mon BC, just gimme the pipe man, you know I am good for it."

They drink wine in Fort Mac? That's a surprise
Wonder how the yelp reviews are on this place?

3.5 * But one person gave them that since they're boycotting BC Wines.  But I'm sure it's no Kissa Tanto or Salvio Volpe.

Well, they can just enjoy their awesome Albertan wines.

You realize you should have said, "Notley and Trudeau make me sad. BC have no choices."

BC will have to spend tax monies to clean up the inevitable spills. Profits will go to non-Canadians.

Jobs.

I keep hearing this....remind me how many spills the current pipeline has had and what we had to pay for the clean up.

(and dont include the excavator hitting the line a few years back...not the pipe's  fault)

Well, there's this...

A look at our glorious neighbours to the south

And more locally, Canada has this.  Browsing the Canada report appears many pipeline leaks are a result of corrosion.

That's awesome!  If there is none, then the operators of the line can guarantee they'll clean up any and all spills back to their natural state, right?

When you think about it, the Titanic can't be blamed for the deeds of icebergs either.  LOL.

Seriously, why would blaming inanimate objects have anything to do with the risk of a spill?  Can we look outside Canada for evidence of pipeline spills?  How exactly do your rules of risk management work?

Don't include Notley, she has no power here.  Trudeau might be able to ram this pipeline through, but that wasn't my point.  Alberta doesn't hold any cards and is completely unwilling to take responsibility for the cost of spills or any kind of deal that involves revenue for BC.  We are both at the mercy of the feds and the courts.  Notley just wants to look tough for to Albertans.

Hit BC where it hurts. Go after the part of BC that is flooded with Albertans. This is going to be good
