What VPN's are you all using these days? My Cyberghost subscription expires in a few days and I'm shopping around. Current rate is $70/year for cyberghost. Private Internet Access seems like the current go-to.

Happy with PIA.

Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

Witopia.

Only complaint is that it drops/disconnects once in a while. But that's a fairly serious complaint.

I would look for one that has a built in "Internet Lockdown" or similar that shuts off internet access when the VPN drops.

PIA, cheap as chips and does what it says on the box.

Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.

How much enforcement does PIA do on breach of their services? E.g. They state:

Uploading, possessing, receiving, transporting, or distributing any copyrighted, trademark, or patented content which you do not own or lack written consent or a license from the copyright owner;

Thus torrents, grey market, etc would breach their service. I would assume most people use a VPN for those reasons. If they monitor the traffic they would know if you breached it.

You can cover your IP country easily without cost or at least a much cheaper cost so using a VPN for Netflicks would excessive.

It all just made me curious. Anyone "breaching" their contract with them?

Well, seeing as they say they do IP sharing and that they don't keep logs, they'd have to watch your traffic in real-time.

That said, maybe they're a front for the NSA.

Ad-Free Time (started in Victoria) is US$2/month to make Netflix think you're somewhere else and to block almost all ads in your browser.
