Just get one of these.

This has been done on many Yotas. A lot of people stick with the ALH motors as they are considered some of the more robust TDI motors. I have a BEW (Pumpe Duse) motor and they are okay as well - each has their pros and cons.

ALH to mod: larger turbo, larger down pipe and exhaust, EGR delete, larger nozzles, larger fuel pump, custom/bigger intercooler (will need to be customized in the Yota anyways), 3 bar MAP, then add a tune. Malone tuning will be able to customize one for whichever application you want (hp vs tq vs rpm).

Yes, the ECU's are stand alone.

Edit - start here with conversions (then we can talk power): http://forums.tdiclub.com/forumdisplay.php?f=63

Van Wonder on third, just west of Lonsdale. John's a bit of a talker, but he's good.

Rod at Beetle Spa has been great to me and my Jetta for the last 3-4 years. Super honest and has earned my trust.
