I think my favorite part of cycling through was the southern truck stops with super cheep food and beer. sure as fuck was not the northern truck stops with nothing but pho for days on end. though the cycling was way more interesting in the central high lands and north west.

Just rode my first motorcycle. 125cc 4 gear semi automatic. Rode all day through the mountain roads of sapa valley. So beautiful and so much fun.

There were dozens of foreigners on rented bikes ripping around sapa. We all had helmets but I doubt licensing is an issue here. I could see it being different in other places though.

Fuck that. Motorcycles are fun but if I could have made my bicycle magically appear I would have prefered that. Motorbikes are noisy and stink of gas.
