shred is lame… SRV and Jimmi are rolling over in thier graves… I'm sorry, but IMO that guy sucks. Steve Vai, Joe Satraini, Yengwvie, Joe Petruchi… fuck all those guy's. There is litteraly no emotion or feel to their playing, it's just hair rock. Hot for Teacher is great but everything else by VH blows goats IMO.

That Uke player doing "While my guitar gently weeps"… now that is tallent.

i pretty well agree with this post. 'cept stevie vai showed some brilliance under zappa's tutelige(sp?)… see stevie's spanking etc.

i bet you could make a robot that could solo faster and with better technique than all of the above, and just as much feel.=/
