mRNA never enters the nucleus of the cell, which is where our DNA (genetic material) is kept.
The cell breaks down and gets rid of the mRNA soon after it is finished using the instructions.

I got the AV shot a couple of weeks ago. I registered at a pharmacy close to home on a Thursday, got an email to book on Sunday and got the shot on Tuesday. I didn't feel anything the day of but was pretty achy and a headache the following day. I had a couple of things I had to do at work in the morning and called it at noon and slept for the afternoon. I was back to normal by later in the evening and no other side effects since. I haven't had a hangover in almost 30 years but that's about how it felt.

That's good news. Rupert was a bit of a guinea pig for the effectiveness and it seems to be working out.
I got mine today.

We showed up today early to register, got it 90mins or so later. Have yet to hear anything from any online list I’ve signed up for. Also sounds like BC has now used up its AZ supply.
This does not seem like a well orchestrated vaccine distribution plan.

Kinda on the fence about the vacc after medivacing one of my crew who had a bad reaction to the shot. Thoughts?

Keep waiting. It's being denied by the media but there are numerous reports of mentrual issue's in women; that include's non-vaxed women being around vax'd women. Now I know you dont fall into that category but unless its mandatory...?
Just make sure to have your essential paper's ready for the checkpoints bro ;)

All I said was gene therapy. I didnt say which gene or type of cell. IOW, I didnt mention DNA. Can you call it a vaccine when it subs in something else instead of an attenuated virus to illicit a reaction? I'll meet you somewhere along the way at "experimental vaccine" should be used during phrasing every damn time sir...?

It is not gene therapy. Please try and understand the definition of terms before using them. Gene therapy, by definition, involves DNA.
Yes, a vaccine can be any substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity. Im not sure where you get the idea it only applies to attenuated virus.
