I used the pharmacy online site and found a Safeway that had a slot open an hour later.  Went and got the shot.  Contrary to what people have been saying, the injection hurt!

ymmv but i didnt think the needle  hurt much going in,  my buddy the anesthetist  and a guy who knows needles had the same experiance,

the arm did hurt later on and for a day or so, I moved a wood pile which wasnt fun,

I would say take the day of Vax and the next off from doing much physical labor  if you can but if you can't its bearable

I have heard of people getting knocked out  sick but  that was not my experiance

The needle itself?  Or the feeling like you got punched in the area?

I had the latter, didn't feel the former.

Got night-sweats, woke up with a headache and then a few hours after that felt like I mainlined testosterone, viagra and cocaine and had a great day.

I couldn't feel the needle at all honestly, I wasn't sure if they were done.

Got Moderna. First dose, didn't move the arm afterwards, got so sore it was hard to sleep. No other side effects though.

Second dose, lots of mobility exercises in the hours following the injection, almost no soreness. 17 hours after second shot though bad flu-like body aches. 8 hours later symptoms completely vanished.

Just the needle.  First time in a long time that a shot stung a bit.  Possibly because of who did the injection.

No soreness at all afterwards.

Don't ever get a shot in the butt.  It's actually quite painful.

My wife got hers a few weeks ago and she got a minor fever and felt Shitty the next day. The same for a couple of the office folks at work.

Srsly? I barely felt it.

The achy shoulder didn't start until about an hour later, and still some localized pain there, 2 days later.

You got your shot DT eastside?

DTES rollout seems to be going well. I saw a guy there vaccinating himself and he even hooked me up with a dose for a small fee.

I dunno what people are talking about saying it hurts. The euphoria I felt was indescribable. Only weird thing is I really really want another dose now. Is that normal?

Mine was fine, no pain or anything, felt like a normal flu shot I'd get.

Unfortunately no euphoric feelings either, could be what Bill Gates put in them, trying to get people excited about taking the vaccine.

(joking, I'm not actually like that)

So my wife gets a lot/most of her news from FB.  She's heard that the mRNA vaccines "change your genes, change your DNA" which makes her nervous about Moderna or Pfizer.  Might not be available to her anyway.

What's actually happening with a Moderna or Pfizer shot? I would have no issues with them but want something to say if she's offered one of those but is reluctant as a result of her FB friends.

So your wife only gets info from FB...and you're in here looking for answers?

This is why we can't have nice things.
